Vista Hermosa in Sayulita is a gorgeous Villa perched above the village, in the prime neighborhood of Nanzal Hill. The 400-foot-above-sea-level location offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, Sayulita Bay, the Village, Monkey Mountain and the surrounding jungle. The charming town of Sayulita offers good food, great surf, fun bars,amazing beaches,live music and shopping,and makes you feel right at home.
The one-of-a-kind unobstructed views and peaceful sounds of the ocean and jungle make our home the perfect getaway,close enough to Sayulita’s center to allow you to enjoy activity while also offering a place to relax and recharge away from all it’s energy.
The home is built in a traditional Mexican style with arched brick roofs, wrought iron gates, mosaic tile columns, thatched roof, talavera tiles in all the bathrooms and stairs, parota wood doors and windows, and topped off with beautiful colors and local art. The property consists of over 1200 m² surrounded by nature on all sides for privacy. Additionally, you are protected with exterior gates,security cameras and an alarm system.
Expansive yard with flowers galore including: roses, hibiscus, birds of paradise, plumeria, ginger, bougainvillea and fruit trees like mango, lime and coconut.
Golf Cart
We highly recommend a golf cart for your transportation up and down the hill and through town. You could rent your own golf cart in town or you could add golf carts to your reservation at time of booking.
The 6 seater is $70/day The 4 seater $57/day plus tax with a credit card hold for a deposit. For your conveinience the golf cart(s) will be delivered after your arrival and picked up the morning of your departure.
We require all guests to have a seat in the golf cart. If there are 8 guests you would need 2 four seater golf carts
Arrival
The owners Brenda and Ted are available for all the questions you may have before leaving your home. There’s no need for a rental car. We work with Margarito Gomez at Comfort tours for years. He is very honest and reliable He is available to bring you to and from the airport (approximately 45 minutes one way, about $150 round trip) He will have cold beer and water for you when you land. He can even stop for groceries or Cambio/Exchange along the way.
Once you’re at the house you will be greeted by the property manager, Gustavo(Gus). He speaks English and Spanish. He will check you in, give you the keys,combinations and passwords. Gus will be available during your stay for any of your needs. He can arrange for a chef or a traditional mexican meal to be prepared at the house.
Main House
Kitchen/ Living/ Dining.
The kitchen offers high quality appliances (dishwasher, double stainless sink, gas oven, stovetop with 4 gas burners, microwave, side by side fridge/freezer, toaster, blender, electric knife, mini food processor, electric hand-mixer,Keureg and Mr. Coffee coffee maker) and gorgeous granite countertops. You will find the kitchen overly stocked with utensils, dinnerware, cookware, and beautiful local glassware. The dining table has seating for 8.
The living area has comfortable furniture, a 50″ Smart flat screen television, DVD player and Sirius xm radio. The sleeper sofa folds down into a full and also has a pull out twin trundle
(appropriate for 3 children max).
Butterfly Bedroom
Ground floor as it opens up into the luxurious patio and pool area. It has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, Queen pillow top mattress, floor to ceiling blackout shades, with its own en suite bathroom.
This room can be accessed without having to use stairs.
Heart Room
Upstairs in the main house. This room has air-conditioning, ceiling fan, queen pillow top mattress, floor to ceiling black-out shades. It is outfitted with a desk and the network printer, a 22″ television.
Gecko Room
Upstairs in the main house. This room has a queen bed, AC, ceiling fan, blackout shades floor to ceiling. It also opens up to an expansive upper balcony great for an intimate night beneath the stars.This Ensuite has its own large contemporary master bath, marble counters with 2 sinks,tile flooring and a glassed in tile shower.
Guest Bathroom
The upstairs bathroom is decorated in hand painted Talavera tile. The view from the shower is spectacular!
Casita
The 4th room is an exotic, palapa covered Casita surrounded by the gardens. This room provides a more open air sleeping experience. It has a queen pillow top mattress and an en suite with its own private bathroom, ceiling fan and portable A/C. Enjoy an afternoon siesta in the hammock overlooking the ocean, listen to the sounds of the surrounding jungle in your private, open-air cottage.

Heated saltwater infinity pool. Makes the water perfect for year round use anytime of the day or night. There is a poolside bathroom and outdoor shower.
The spacious patio offers plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the 26 foot heated infinity pool. Have a willing friend or family member mix you a drink without even leaving the water as you sit at the pool bar. Enjoy the sun melting into the ocean, over the hills at Patzcarito. Vista Hermosa is the perfect spot to catch every single sunset over the water.
At night, you can see the lights of town, silhouetted by Monkey Mountain, Gringo Hill and the edge of the bay, Punta de Sayulita.

The home is perfect – I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything was much better than expected and working with Ted and Brenda was extremely easy! The house manager and staff were super helpful throughout our trip. I highly recommend renting the golf cart as it’s a hefty hike to and from the downtown from the house. Not impossible to do – but the gold cart will make your life so much easier.

Vista Hermosa is a an excellent base from which to enjoy Sayulita. This was our second trip to Sayulita and our first stay in this house. The house is excellently equipped, very clean and has a great layout for our family. Our group included young children who loved the pool and patio and could play safely in bth throughout the day. The house is wonderfully located, surrounded by incredible trees and wildlife, a great retreat from the bustle of Sayulita, but only a short walk away. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Property manager, Edgar, was extremely responsive, nothing was too much trouble, and worked hard to make our stay a great one. We had a few dinners prepared by Lulu (organized through Edgar) which were outstanding and incredibly good value. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Vista Hermosa.

This was our first trip to Sayulita and it did not disappoint! Vista Hermosa is a beautiful property that is tucked away from the bustle of town but just a quick golf cart trip away from anything you could want or need. The property is safe, very clean, well run and all of the staff are friendly and professional. The views from anywhere on the property are spectacular. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been going back to Sayulita with my family for the past ten years and we love staying at BG’s Vista Hermosa. It’s far enough from the noise of the town but close enough for a golf cart ride anywhere you need. I enjoy running up and down the steep hill for exercise in the morning as it’s only like 5 minutes from the beach as well. There are yoga classes everywhere, awesome surf instructors, pretty hikes, and a local gym. Sayulita has a growing supply of organic and natural ingredients. The hippie smoothie spot is a daily favorite. After a days work of exercise, I liked taking a siesta on the hammock that’s in the casita or relax in the infinity pool. My family and I had everything we needed to cook before a night out or we would check out one of the amazing restaurants. Overall, unbeatable view and unforgettable memories made with our family 🙂 muchas gracias

BG’s Vista Hermosa arguably has the most serene view in all of Sayulita! From the infinity pool overlooking beautiful landscaping, through the jungle, and down to the waves of the Pacific Ocean – you will never see a sunrise or sunset like this anywhere else! The entire staff was incredibly helpful. Ted and Brenda were always available for any questions I had and they even include their designated driver to take you to and from the airport (we got groceries and a smoked chicken along the way!). At one point I did lose my phone in town but the locals were very easy to talk to (even with me not knowing any Spanish!) and we ended up finding it a couple hours later. I hated to leave the home and depart from the view, but once I did I found that the food in town is absolutely wonderful! There are options for the whole family and everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Sayulita, this is the place to stay! I can’t wait to return and maybe even check out their other home in Galveston, TX! Thank you again for the unforgettable memories.

We were very hesitant on staying in Sayulita due to all the reviews online, and Ted, the owner was willing to answer our questions multiple times by speaking to us personally. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Rent their golf cart as the house sits on a very steep hill and you need the bigger engine it get up it! The house manager was very helpful and he had no issues checking in and getting picked up at the airport. We would rent again!
